She’s not the same.
You try your best to replicate her perfectly but she’s just not the same.
She doesn’t hug you the right way, or greet you the same as the real Nepeta would. Still, she’s as close as you can get to your moirail anymore.
At first you would spend hours trying to fix her, but you now realize it’s a hopeless cause. She’s not her and she never will be.
“Equius!” the robot chimes, giving you a small hug. “You seem upset, is everything all right?” You look at her before nodding a couple of times. “Yes, I’m fine,” you mutter, patting her head. Cold metal, nothing like the warmth you’re used to.
She’s nothing like the real Nepeta and she never will be, but she’s all you’ve got anymore.

Okay, I’m having a moment. Let me have a minute to get over this video. Shit I mean … This nearly killed me. I often type into my tags that I’m crying but this time I really mean it. Hp has been over for a year now and I still think that it’s the best damn thing that ever happened to me. And it will never truly end for me. Because I’m sitting here crying over these characters, over this fantastic series which gave me so much. Harry Potter was the first book I’ve ever read and it changed me. I guess I’ll never find the right words to explain my love for these books and movies … But I just wanna say one thing: Joanne K. Rowling … THANK YOU SO, I OWE YOU SO MUCH. Just thank you FOR MAKING MY CHILDHOOD A BETTER AND MAGICAL TIME.

I don’t usually literally cry over stuff online. I’m seriously in tears right. Harry Potter was my childhood and this video just brought all those feelings right back to me. I know it had to end just like childhood does, but it will forever be a part of me. I have never had any other series be so much a part of my life, and I will forever be thankful to Rowling for giving me Harry to grow up with and help me get through all the bad and the good.

God. Every movie, every book. Years of my childhood summed up in one post. For those of us that waited for every addition of the series to be released, we know. These books have helped me with my life. They’re more than just stories, they’re lifesavers.
i can’t thank anyone who was involved in this phenomenon enough for everything that they’ve given me. it truly is the most beautiful thing in the world.
